Book Date with Helen Kate- Longwood Gardens Community Read! Online
Join the Furness Librarians on Monday May 3rd from 7-8pm to discuss the Longwood Garden's 2021 Community Read "The Home Place: Memoirs of a Colored Man's Love Affair with Nature" by J. Drew Lanham. It is a beautifully written memoir about race, nature, and the American landscape. Copies of "The Home Place" are available through the Delaware County Libraries. Bonus: participants will be entered to win a voucher to Longwood that is valid for up to 4 free general admission tickets!
